Coach Dies in Kenema After Losing National Playoffs Match

The head coach of Bai Shebborah FC, of Bombali district, David Paul Jr died in the evening hours of Monday, August 29, 2022, after losing 2-1 to EMF Foundation FC in the ongoing National Playoffs in Kenema and Makeni respectively.

It’s reported that he died as a result of a heart attack just after their match at the Kenema Mini Stadium.

“Yes. It’s true. I’m just coming from the place. Just after the post-match conference and he returned to their hotel, we received the sad news of his death,” Musa Bockarie, Head of Media of the Eastern Region Football Association says.
