Ailing Former Leone Stars Coach Sellas Tetteh has received 50,000 Ghana Cedis from Alpha Lotto Limited to support his medical expenses.
The Ghanaian only Under-20 FIFA World Cup winning coach, has been in the news recently calling on well-meaning Ghanaians to come to his rescue.
The coach lately lamented on financial challenges hurting his deteriorating health.

Presenting a cheque to Silas Tetteh, an official of Alpha Lotto, Mr Raymond Nukamewor, said, “Alpha Lotto was heartbroken when we heard the coach and national asset lamenting in the media of hardship. Thus as part of Alpha Lotto’s corporate social responsibility, we present our cheque of Gh 50,000 to Silas.”
During his reign as coach of Sierra Leone, his first assignment was an away game against neighbouring Liberia on September 4th in the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
Silla’s appointment was received with mixed feelings following information of the insistence of the Ministry of Sports that the Football Association should hire a local coach.
