Nigeria’s Coach Reacts to Supension of Goal Keeper Ahead of Leone Stars Clash
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara Super Eagles head Coach Jose Peseiro has reacted over the suspension of his first choice goalkeeper when the team faces Sierra Leone in June.
“There will be replacement for ineligible Uzoho” Paseiro told Journalists.
The coach further said that just as he was able to get a replacement for similarly excluded Ola Aina in the squad, he will have replacements for him (Uzoho) ahead their crucial encounter.
The goalkeeper got a yellow card in the added time of Monday’s encounter with Guinea Bissau. That was his second caution having been earlier given a yellow card in the opening game with Sierra Leone last June.
Coincidentally, both cautions came late into the matches and for the same offence – time wasting.
The 62-year-Old Portuguese tactician was hired as Super Eagles Coach in May 2022 replacing Austine Eguavoen
