Over conflict that resulted to the disruption of the match at it 90th minute of the game between Foula Tong Community FC and Summer City Community FC, Central One Football Association (COFA) finally takes decision.
On a letter from the body to the Secretary General of the Foula Tong Community FC Freetown, COFA after having scrutinized the incident quoted from the match officials reports and eye witnesses, the Foula Tong Community FC have been found guilty to have invaded the field and disrupted the game in the 90 minutes and hence pass the following verdicts:
1. The match was considered to be finished and Foula Tong Community FC loosed the match to Summer City Community FC and hence awarded three points.
2. Foula Tong Community FC were fined Two Thousand (New) Leones for all damages caused in the field after putting on the fight in the 90 minutes of play. The fine is expected to be paid within a week as confide in the rules and regulations of the body.
3. The community is banned from partaking in any form of COFA competitions for an indefinite period.
4. The following players have been banned from participating in any COFA inter area league competition for one year with immediate effect: Patrick Lebbie, Kemson Fofanah, Gibrilla Osu Kamara.
After deliberating and conclusion drawn on the aforementioned subject, Summer City Community FC are considered to have qualified to the grand final of the competition which date will be announced shortly by COFA.
