Leone Stars Defender, David Sesay Has Rejoined Keister’s 28 Man Squad After Testing Negative For Covid-19. The player was in Isolation and missed the match between Ivory Coast .

Sesay, who in past days has been battling with Covid-19, has tested Negative for the Virus.Sesay is therefore back with the squad as they they held their 1st Training in Buea City this ahead of Sierra Leone final group E match against Equatorial Guinea.

Born in England, Sesay is of Kenyan and Sierra Leonean descent. He was called up to the Kenya national football team in March 2019, although turned down the call-up in order to help Crawley Town in the relegation battle.

In October 2021, he was called-up by the Sierra Leone national Football team for friendly fixtures that month. He debuted for Sierra Leone in a 1-1 friendly with South Sudan on 7th October 2021.
