Dreams FC, the Ghanaian football club, has departed from Accra to Monrovia in pursuit of qualification for the group stage. They are set to face FC Kallon in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round. Dreams FC secured a 2-1 victory in the first leg encounter held in Accra.

In a strategic move to address concerns raised by their Ghanaian opponent, FC Kallon recently announced a change in the venue for their upcoming home match against Dreams FC (Ghana) in the return leg of the CAF Confederation Cup Preliminary Round
The match was Originally scheduled to take place at the Southern Arena in Bo, Sierra Leone, but will now be held at the Samuel Kanyon Doe (SKD) Stadium in Monrovia, Liberia.
Meanwhile, the Assistant Manager of Dreams FC Winfred Dormon earlier spoke to the media that the pressure is on FC Kallon to defeat them in the return leg of the CAF Confederation Cup Preliminary Round. He affirmed that they have gotten their win and he is impressed with their performance.
“I believe that when we go there they will have to open up which we can also take our chances, we can also take the game to them. In the second leg we have to make sure they score. I believe we have to change our approach and also change the strategy of the team maybe more players will come to play the game. The way we were messing our chances was very frustrating. We have to go back and also do the review. The Pressure is on FC Kallon to beat us but we have to make sure we have the result to qualify,” He Said.
The date of the match remains unchanged, and it will still be held on the 30th of September 2023.
