East End Lions Football Club has completed the signing of experienced goalkeeper Abdul Bundu, widely known as “Rope,” on a two-year contract ahead of the 2026/27 football season.
The club announced that Bundu joined the Killers after the expiration of his contract with Liberian Premier League side LISCR FC. His arrival is expected to add experience and depth to East End Lions’ goalkeeping department as the team prepares for a demanding domestic and continental campaign.
Bundu is a former Bo Rangers FC goalkeeper and one of the most experienced shot-stoppers in Sierra Leonean football. He has won the Sierra Leone Premier League title three times during his career, earning recognition for his commanding presence, consistency, and leadership qualities.
In a statement, East End Lions described the goalkeeper as a valuable addition to the squad, noting that his experience and winning mentality would strengthen the team ahead of the new season.
The club is expected to rely heavily on Bundu as it seeks to challenge for domestic honours and compete in the 2026/27 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup.
The signing represents another major move by East End Lions as the club continues to reinforce its squad for both national and continental competitions.
