As East End Lions reposition for the 2026/27 season following an abysmal finish to the 2025/26 season, Sierra Leone international midfielder Kwame Quee finds himself at a career crossroads, with reports indicating his departure from the Freetown giants is imminent.
The 29-year-old, who joined the club in February 2026 from Icelandic side Víkingur Ólafsvík, is set to become a free agent. His exit is one of several moves as the reigning champions recalibrate their squad.
Quee, a former youth international who made his senior debut for the Leone Stars in 2014, has been a fixture in the national team setup, earning over 30 caps and scoring three international goals.

The Killers are in the midst of a major roster reconstruction. The club recently signed veteran goalkeeper Abdul “Rope” Bundu on a two-year deal and secured experienced defender David Simbo to a one-year contract, aiming to inject stability and leadership into the squad.
These strategic reinforcements come as the club looks to leverage the transfer window to improve its standing in next season’s Leone Rock Premier League.
The departure of Quee, whose contract with the club ended in July, marks the end of a short but notable stint for the midfielder who was brought in to add international experience to the side.
