In what promises to be a thrilling encounter, Sierra Leone’s FC Kallon has been drawn against Niger’s AS Douanes in the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup.

Football fans across the continent are eagerly anticipating the first leg fixtures, which are scheduled to take place on the 18th, 19th, and 20th of August and the second Leg schedule for the 25th, 26th and 27th August.

Last season FC Kallon progress through to the group stage of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Cup after defeating Buffles Les Borgou of Benin 3-0 at the Samuel K Doe stadium in Liberia in the return leg on Saturday, where the match was played because of the renovation going on at the stadium in Freetown. They complete the duel 4-0 on aggregate after an earlier 1-0 away victory in Benin.

The CAF Confederation Cup is a prestigious tournament that brings together some of Africa’s top football clubs to compete for continental glory. Both FC Kallon and AS Douanes have shown their prowess in their respective domestic leagues, and now they have the chance to test their mettle against each other on an international stage.
