According to rumours cycling on social media over Leone Stars striker, Musa Noah Kamara aka Musa Tombo’s goal being cancelled by CAF as a result of alleged match cheat. SLFA Media and Marketing head, Ibrahim Kamara has confirmed to the media that, the goal  scored against Mali stands and the score remains 2-1.

Musa Tombo’s goal was a consolation for Sierra Leoneans who are desperate to qualify in the TotalEnergies 2022 CHAN qualifiers. News reaching the web on this rumour was disappointing

The allegation was that Leone Stars Team-B squad Head coach, Francis Zappa Koroma fielded Joseph Kamara(Kaka) who was not part of the match day team sheet. Because of this act of Zappa, there had been rumours that Sierra Leone goal would be cancelled.

Ahead of the Leone Stars Team-B return leg match with the Eagles of Mali, Head of media and marketing, SLFA, Ibrahim Kamara has just confirmed to the media that, the goal Musa Noah Kamara scored against Mali stands and the score remains 2-1.

“..The result in Liberia (SLE 1:2 Mali) remains the same and unchanged. ” Ibrahim mentioned.

After several investigations conducted over said matter, it has been proven and disclosed that all players used by Sierra Leone national Team-B in the said match were fully registered and therefore eligible.

“Any news contrary to this is fabricated and therefore untrue and even illogical as such purported action doesn’t conform with any of the football rules”. Ibrahim Kamara concluded.

This goal being proven to stand still is a good news for Leone Stars Team-B squad as they are just looking for 2:0 defeat to qualify in the TotalEnergies CHAN 2022 qualifiers against the Eagles of Mali.
