After completing the suspension levied on him by the Premier League Board, Sierra Leone’s football icon, Mohamed Kallon has returned to the touchline in a flying colours, recording two consecutive wins in less than a week to move his side into the third position in the league log with 29 points after 16 matches played.

Mohamed Kallon, owner and the current Head Coach of the FC Kallon male side, a club he established 21 years ago made his return in the dugout during a vital 2-1 turnaround home win over 2018/19 Sierra Leone Premier League champions East End Lions FC at Angola field last Friday.

In-form striker Alie Conteh scored both goals for his side in the 60th minutes to levelled terms ancanceleded winger Prince Barrie’s 55 minutes brilliant finish that put the visitors ahead, while the decider came later in the 71 minutes. He guided his side to convincingly eliminate Benin side Buffles du Borgou on aggregate 4-0 in the first round of the 2022-23 CAF Confederation Cup qualifying rounds but being knocked out by Egyptian side Future FC in the second round.

Meanwhile, the ongoing 2022/23 season is the first domestic top-tier league when Kallon is serving as a tactician since he attained his coaching qualifications and is set to clash with Wusum Stars in his final match for the first round away at the Makeni Playing Field.
