Leone Stars Head Coach, John Keister is set announce his final 23-man squad ahead of AFCON clash with Sao Tome.

The announcement of the squad will take place on Tuesday, 14th March at the SLFA Conference Hall, 21 Battery Street, Kingtom, Freetown.

Sierra Leone is scheduled to play both home-and-away matches on the 22 and 26 March respectively, in Agadir Morocco as both nations currently lack CAF approved playing facilities.

The matches are part of the country’s bid to securing a return in Africa’s biggest football spectacle, the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations in the continental showpiece set for Cote D’Ivoire next year.

Sierra Leone last featured in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations after a long break, its previous appearance being 1996.
