Sierra Leone international defender, Raphael Koroma is set to rejoin his boyhood club, FC Johansen on a free transfer.
The 22-year center-back was playing for FK Turan in Kazakhstan’s top-tier league after making his international club debut for FC Sucleia in Moldova.
The 6ft 2 defender left Johansen in 2020 as a free agent before signing for his Moldovan side and his return has been greeted as welcoming news for Johansen.

Koroma had a successful spell at Johansen which resulted in a Leone Stars call-up and traveled with the team several times. However, he fell out of favor with Keister since he left for Europe.

Johansen is currently experiencing a poor run of form leaving the team languishing in 16th position with just 15 points after 15 games. The team will now face a relegation battle as the Sierra Leone Premier closes to the end of the first round.
