Mohamed N. Kamara, the Sierra Leone national team goalkeeper currently on loan with Tanzanian Premier League side Pamba SC, has survived a serious accident over the weekend in Dodoma Province, Tanzania.

The incident occurred early on March 11, 2025, at approximately 5 AM, as the team was traveling to participate in the CRDB Federation Cup fixture against Kiluvya United. Reports indicate that the team bus was struck by a semi-truck, resulting in a chaotic scene and several injuries among players and staff.

“The accident was caused by a collision with a semi-truck from Mwanza Huduma Company, resulting in injuries to some of the players. Quick recovery to the injured players.” the team’s public statement obtained by Sierraloaded reads.

Fortunately, a media update from Pamba Jiji FC confirmed that Kamara is safe following the accident.

The club and fans are relieved to hear that the goalkeeper, known for his skills on the field and contributions to the national team, has emerged from this life-threatening situation without serious harm.
