Leone Stars Hombased Team Holds First Training in Marrakech, Morocco
Following their safe arrival in Morocco yesterday, the Sierra Leone National home-based team (Leone Stars ‘B’) has this morning held their first training session at the Grand Stade Marrakech in continuation of preparation ahead of the double-legged tie against the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde in the TotalEnergies 2022 CHAN Qualifiers.
During his usual post training technical address to the players, the Head Coach Francis Zappa Koroma said, “We must remain focused and follow every training routine neatly. Let’s maintain our values as a team which is; hard work, respect and determination. Remember our mission here is to play and win. We should give our all for Sierra Leone and for ourselves to qualify to the next stage”.
The team is enthusiastically set for the second session later today at the same venue.
Sierra Leone shall host their Cape Verdean opponents on Sunday the 24th July and a flip of the said fixtures shall take place on Wednesday the 27th July, 2022.
