Last season’s runners-up in the Sierra Leone Premier League, East End Lions have parted ways with the head coach, Francis Zappa Koroma.
“East Lions Football Club and Head Coach Francis Zappa Koroma have mutually agreed to part ways,” the club said in a release issued this afternoon.
Lions said that Coach Zappa has performed below par so far this season.
The ‘Killers’ said they appreciated the dedication and hard work the coach did during his time at the club.
Meanwhile, the club has appointed Raymond Gerald Hunter to act as interim head coach as they scout for a replacement.
The lions lost by a goal to nil yesterday in their match against Ports Authority.
The ‘Killers’ are currently occupying 3rd position with 20 points after 12 games.
