Leone Stars Forward, Rodney Micheal has been ruled out of John Keister 25-man squad ahead of the double-header clash against Sao Tome and Principe later this month.

According to reports, the striker was ruled out of Keister’s squad after he suffered a hamstring injury during training with his club, FK Monar.

“Disappointed to have to withdraw from the National team due to injury. As always, I wish the players and technical team all the best and I am optimistic they will get results that the nation will be proud of. I will now focus on recovering and getting back to 100% to be able to help my club team, and hopefully, national team in future games”. Rodney posted on his social media handle

He will be replaced by one of John Keister’s standby players.
