Youth Ministry Unveils Team Jerseys Ahead of Inter-MDA Clash with SLRSA
The Ministry of Youth Affairs has stepped up preparations for its participation in the ongoing Inter-MDA Football Competition with the official unveiling of jerseys for its team and supporters ahead of their opening match against the Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA).
The unveiling ceremony brought together the Minister of Youth Affairs, Hon. Ibrahim Sannoh, the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, the Commissioner of the National Youth Commission (NAYCOM), the Executive Director of the National Youth Service (NYS), and other staff members.
The event signals the Ministry’s readiness to join the competition, with the Youth Sector seeking to combine sporting ambition with a display of unity and institutional pride.

The Ministry of Youth Affairs’ participation in the competition also offers an opportunity to strengthen relationships among public sector institutions while encouraging teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness through sports.
Beyond the pitch, the Ministry sees the competition as a platform to promote camaraderie among public servants and highlight sports’ role in bringing people together.

With the jerseys now unveiled, attention shifts to the Youth Sector’s opening encounter against SLRSA, as the team prepares to begin its campaign in the Inter-MDA Football Competition.
The Ministry has called on its staff, supporters and the wider youth community to rally behind the team as it prepares to represent the Youth Sector in the competition.
