Mogbwemo Queens Bolster Squad With New Signings Ahead of CAF Women’s Champions League
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara The Sierra Leone Female Premeir League Football Champion Mogbwemo Queens has Unveiled Seven new Signings in Kono District ahead of their Zonal 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League Zonal Qualifiers.
The Unveiling took place before the friendly match between Sierra Leone Female All-stars And Mogbwemo Queens. The said match ended 1-0 in favour of Mogwemo queens.
The seven players unveiled were Mariama Sambo, Matilda Kabba, Mariama Barrie, Saio Quarishi, Jariatu S. Kamara, Fatmata L Kamara and Mahawa Traorae.
The head Coach of the team, Duramani M Janneh, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the management for providing him with the necessary ahead of the Upcoming International encounters.
Mogwemo Queens will face Dakar Sacred Heart (Senegal), AS Mande (Mali) and Determine Girls (Liberia) in the WAFU Zone A qualifiers for the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League. Their journey will commence on August 7th
