Mohamed Buya Turay has joined USL Championship side Birmingham Legion from Odense Boldklub.

Odense Boldklub has announced on its official website that Mohamed Buya Turay is departing the Danish side.

The statements from the club football director read, “We have reached an agreement with Birmingham Legion FC regarding the transfer of Mohamed Buya Turay. As per the agreement, the 29-year-old striker will be moving to the American club immediately.

“We would like to express our gratitude to Buya for his efforts during his time with OB, and we wish him and his family all the best for their future endeavours,” says Björn Wesström, football director at OB.”
Tuuray earlier signed a two years dea with Odense l that was expected to end until 2025. However it appears the Leone Stars striker is ready to take up new challenge.

Birmingham Legion FC is an American professiona soccer club based in Birmingham AlabamaBirmingham, Alabama  that competes in the USL Championship, the second division of American soccer. The team was established in August 2013 and played under the name Birmingham Hammers until 2018 and began their first professional season as Legion FC on March 10, 2019.
