Sierra Leone National team, Leone Stars first choice goalkeeper Mohamed N Kamara has on his new signed club, Horoya FC in Guinea bagged first edition of the West Africa Championship Cup.

The goalkeeper who signed a 2-year contract with the club on 2nd October 2021 with a contract extension for the player if he wishes, has bagged one major trophy in his new signed club.

The former East End Lions goalkeeper bought his fame following his impressive performance at the AFCON tournament. On Leone Stars first match against Algeria, Mohamed N Kamara was spotted defending Algeria and Man City best Marez from netting a goal. At the end of the match, he was awarded man of the match for his marvelous saves during the match that ended draw.

After the deal been done and sealed, the player departed from Sierra Leone to Guinea two weeks ago for his pre-season trainings with his teammates. In their match against the Champions of Senegal, Horoya Athletic club defeated Senegal Casa sports by 2 goals to 1. This defeat gave Horoya Athletic club as the Champions of the first edition of the West Africa Championship Cup.
