Morocco secured a 3-1 victory over Sierra Leone on Thursday at the San Pedro stadium in Cote d’Ivoire as the Atlas Lions concluded their preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) set to start on 13 January.

Abu Komeh Musa, a local player for BO Rangers in Sierra Leone, scored the lone  goal against Morocco.

Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri canceled Sierra Leone’s early lead by equalizing for the Atlas Lions in the 30th minute.Five minutes later, winger Sofiane Boufal doubled the lead for Morocco.

En-Nesyri continued his dazzling performance, netting the second ten minutes into the second half.

In recent times,Leone  stars has suffered two defeats against Ivory  Coast  and Morroco under the watch of Coach Alhaji Foray.

Morocco, drawn in Group F alongside DR Congo, Zambia and Tanzania, will start their Nations Cup campaign on Wednesday 17 January against Tanzania
