Sierra Leonean Musician & Businessman, Nasser Ayoub was involved in the sale of Chelsea Football Club as Friday’s deadline closed.

As the deadline to submit a bid to buy Chelsea closed on Friday night, following the UK government’s decision to sanction owner Roman Abramovich due to his links with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the West London club have yet another offer from a Sierra Leonean.

Ayoub has previously written a letter of intent to Purchase the English Premier League Club side.

In his letter dated 9th, 2022, Ayoub stated ”I here submit a letter of intent to purchase your Chelsea Football Club, it’s inventory, players, stadium and other assets…”

According to the letter, Ayoub considers to provide of Le 25,000000 as follows;
1. Le 5,000,000 deposit on execution of a purchase agreement
2. Le 5,000,000 compensation and one way ticket for Mr.Abramovich, after 15 day transfer period
3. Balance in equal payments paid monthly the first 6 months after closing

Bidders had until 9 pm on Friday to submit an offer, with the UK government effectively in control of Chelsea, who are operating under a special license to continue with certain aspects of their business for the meantime.

Abramovich had put Chelsea up for sale prior to the UK government sanctions amid Russia’s continued invasion of Ukraine.

The 55-year-old had bought Chelsea in 2003 for £140 million before leading them to the top of European football.
