Olympic 2024: Sierra Leone to Tackle Zambia in U23 AFCON Qualifer
Sierra Leone Youth U-23 side will take on Zambia in a U23 AFCON qualifier in October, according to the tournament draw on Thursday, August 18, 2022.
Shooting Stars will face the young chipolpolo in the second rounds of the qualifiers, with the first leg between October 21-23 and the return leg to be played a week later.
If Sierra Leone Progresses, they would be facing the winner between Egypt, which is also awaiting the round one winner between Eswatini/Botswana. The 2024 Olympics will be staged in Paris.
Meanwhile, Nigeria who won a historic Olympic Gold in Atlanta in 1996, before they clinched bronze at the 2016 Olympics in Rio De Jeneiro Brazil.
