The Sierra Leone Premier League is set to officially commence on 25th October 2024, following a decision made during the inaugural meeting of the Sierra Leone Premier League Board.

Chairman of the Board, Victor Lewis said: “We cannot allow another extended pause in our league. It’s the players who will suffer the most”

He called on all clubs to collaborate and ensure a smooth and timely start, as he reflected on the challenges Sierra Leone football has faced, including a seven-year hiatus in the past.
