

Sierra Queens Suffer Opening Loss in WAFU Tourney

Sierra Leone’s Female National Team, Sierra Queens have suffered a 4-1 defeat against the Scorpion Queens of Gambia on Saturday, 21st January 2023 in the ongoing WAFU competition in Cape Verde.
Catherine Jatta inspired the Gambia to Secure their first win in the competition, against Sierra Leone.
The player scored the fastest goal of the WAFU tournament history with over with a little over a minute on the clock to put the womens’s scorpions in the lead.
