The Chairman of Mighty Blackpool FC Mr. Rodney Michael together with the Team Management has heaps praises on Mighty  Blackpool in a meeting held  with the club players and technical team for their tremendous effort in the just concluded Sierra Leone Premier League.

Chairman Rodney thank the team for their fierce display in ensuring that the team moved 14th position just three points above relegation to finished 4th, as the best mover and performing team in the second round of the league.

The chairman with his lieutenant – Team Management throw a challenge to his players and technical team that come 2022/23 league season they want to win the league. In view of this, he is expecting the players and technical team to put their shoulders to the wheel by bringing back the long absent of smiles to the executive and fans of Mighty Blackpool FC.

Other speakers from the Team Management: Bilal Bah, Sulaiman Jobe and Shine stressed on discipline as there would be no room for indiscipline. They strongly advise the players that they should take football as their career by “eat, drink and sleep football”.

The Chairman and Team Management reiterate that moving forward to achieve success next season the club will not tolerate indiscipline and strong punitive measures would be taken against defaulters who may not report for training at the stipulated time and also absenting themselves in the club training for mini leagues.

Plans are ongoing for pre-season training which will be communicated to the technical team.

All players, technical team and other support staff received their salaries immediately after the meeting and the chairman assured the players and technical team that Mighty Blackpool will continue to pay salaries during the ongoing off season.
