Rodney Michael, Vice Chairman 2 Sho Cole, and other senior Mighty Blackpool officials represented Sierra Leone Premier League clubs at the inaugural Annual General Assembly of the African Club Association (ACA) on November 30, 2023.
The ACA was launched with the aim of improving the quality and competitiveness of African club football. During the launch, the association’s leadership was elected.
Rodney Michael was elected as an ACA board member representing WAFU Zone A, as reported by the Sierra Leone Football Association.
This is a significant development for Sierra Leone football, as it gives the country a voice in the governance of African club football. The ACA is expected to play a major role in the development of African club football, and Sierra Leone will be well-represented at the table.

The African Club Association is a new organization that was formed to represent the interests of African clubs. The ACA is based in Cairo, Egypt, and has a membership of over 500 clubs from all over Africa.
The ACA is working to improve the quality and competitiveness of African club football. The association is also working to develop new competitions and initiatives that will benefit African clubs.
The ACA is a welcome addition to the African football landscape, and it is expected to play a major role in the development of African club football.
