SLFA Signs FIFA Arena Project Deal with Albert Academy, Bo School
The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has unveiled a FIFA Arena Project for Albert Academy and Bo School, aimed at improving football infrastructure and creating better opportunities for grassroots talent development.
The project was formally launched through the signing of agreements between the SLFA and the two schools at the SLFA Secretariat in Kingtom, Freetown.
SLFA President Babadi Kamara said the initiative is being implemented as a pilot project, with successful implementation expected to pave the way for similar facilities at other schools across the country.
He explained that the project is being implemented through a counterpart funding arrangement. FIFA will provide the required materials and technical expertise, while local counterpart support in Sierra Leone will handle construction of the sub-base.

Kamara noted that formal agreements with the beneficiary institutions were required before FIFA could release and dispatch the project materials.
Representing Albert Academy, Alumni President Zainab Attire Bangura thanked the SLFA and FIFA for selecting the school, describing the project as an important opportunity to provide young players with improved facilities and support the development of emerging football talent.
Rev. Hassan Kainesie of Bo School also welcomed the initiative, describing the partnership as a significant step towards strengthening youth sports development in Sierra Leone.
The project is expected to improve school football facilities while supporting the development of young players and grassroots football across the country.
