The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) President Thomas Daddy Brima has in an open letter congratulated Alimamy Sallieu Turay who has become the first Sierra Leonean to be employed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Alimamy is the new Payable Executive Accountant – Coordinator at Africa’s football governing body Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.

Following Alimamy’s landmark appointment, Mr. Brima noted that it has brought ‘so much respect to the nation and its football…’
