The Sierra Leone Football Association has on Friday 28th July, 2023 registered their heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed Minister of Sports, Madam Augusta James Teima.
The Association took to their Twitter account, registering their readiness to work with the new Minister to transform football in Sierra Leone.

Madam Augusta James Teima was appointed Minister of Sports on July 15, 2023 by the President of Sierra Leone, Dr Julius Maada Bio.
Madam Teima is the first woman to be appointed as Sports Minister since the inception of multi-party democracy in Sierra Leone.
She is the treasurer of the Sierra Leone Athletics Association and a lecturer at Milton Margai University.
Teima took over from Ibrahim Nylenkeh who served as Minister of Sports in the first term of the President Bio’s regime.
