SLFA Extends Financial Support to Sierra Leone Clubs Ahead of CAF Campaigns
Aaron Parker The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), under the leadership of President Babadi Kamara, has provided financial support of $5,000 each to East End Lions Football Club, Star Sport Academy, and Mogbwemo Queens FC to assist the clubs in their preparations for the upcoming CAF inter-club competitions.
The financial assistance is intended to help ease some of the financial challenges associated with the clubs’ participation in continental football and support their preparations ahead of their respective CAF campaigns.
Each of the three clubs received $5,000, bringing the total financial support provided by the SLFA to $15,000.
The intervention underscores the Association’s commitment to supporting Sierra Leonean clubs representing the country in international competitions and helping them adequately prepare for their CAF engagements.
East End Lions, Star Sport Academy, and Mogbwemo Queens FC are expected to utilize the support towards their preparations and other competition-related expenses as they gear up for the upcoming continental fixtures.
