The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Babadi Kamara, together with members of his Executive Committee, has donated modern communication devices and other essential equipment to the Sierra Leone Football Referees’ Association to improve officiating standards across the country.

The donation is intended to enhance communication among match officials and strengthen the quality and accuracy of refereeing in domestic football competitions.

Speaking on the initiative, the SLFA leadership reaffirmed its commitment to promoting fair play, transparency, and professionalism in football administration, noting that improving officiating remains a key priority in its development agenda.

The gesture has been welcomed by stakeholders, who described it as a significant step toward addressing concerns over officiating standards in local competitions.

The SLFA said the support forms part of efforts to modernise football management and ensure that matches are decided by talent and fair competition.
