Key Stakeholders in Sierra Leone Football have paid respect as the Sierra Leone Football Association opened a book of Condolence in honor of the late Nahim Khadi.

Khadi who once served as the former President of the Sierra Leone Football Association passed away on Tuesday, June 13th, 2023, and his body has been laid to rest in London where the sad event took police.

SLFA President Thomas Daddy Brima, Vice President 1 Harold Nat-Johnson, Acting General Secretary Mohamed Benson Bawoh, and Western Area Football Association Chairman Rev. Philip Buck were part of the ceremony and shared their condolences in the book.

He served as the President of the Sierra Leone Football Association from 2004 to 2012, before tendering his resignation.

Khadi was a retired footballer who played for Sierra Leonean national team between the 1960s and 1970s, and he also played for five home-based clubs including East End Lions, Mighty Blackpool and Old Edwardians.
