Leone Stars Arrives in Morocco
Fayia Junior Moseray The Sierra Leone men’s national team, Leone Stars yesterday Sunday 19 March 2023, arrived in Agadir ahead of their doubleheader against São Tomé & Principe in the AFCON 2023 qualifiers.
According to the report, the head coach John Keister’s team flew from Freetown and arrived at the Al Massira Airport in Agadir; in Southwest Morocco and the capital of Souss-Massa region via Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca.
The team is in Morroco for AFCON 2022 qualifiers against Sao Tome and
Principe.
The two teams are expected to play both games in Agadir Morocco; on Wednesday 22 and Sunday 26 March 2023 respectively.
Both nations currently lack CAF-approved football-playing facilities.
