Sierra Leone Premier League club, Wusum Stars have enjoyed a back-to-back win under new coach, Mohamed Lamin Kamara.
Their recent victory was against FC Johansen who also recruited a new coach in the person of Dimitar Pantev.
Two goals in the second half from in form forward, Issa Tarawallie were enough to seal their victory.
The striker have netted three times in just appearances recently.
The winnings are described by the Makeni club’s fans as a transition as the club’s poor performance has seen them in the relegation zone with only a couple games remaining in the first round of the league.
The man at the heart of the club’s transition, coach Kamara said that the victory meant a lot to him and football loving locals in the region. He said that this is because the club is the only male team in the Sierra Leone Premier League.
Kamara was appointed in January after the club sack head coach, Abdul Rahman Turay alias Agina due to poor run of form.
The Makeni outfit is optimistic that they would move from the drop zone before the end of the first round as they travel to Lungi where they will play Lamboi FC next.
