Former Craig Bellamy player Umaru Samura has expressed his delight after his debut goal with Cambodian Second-tier Koh Kong on Sunday.

Samura, 23, who joined Koh Kong FC on a year deal , opened for the 1st Generation boys, was happy with his new club

“It was a great win and I was happy to start the season with a goal to my name”, He told FSL news

“It’s a new beginning for me. As always, every young footballer’s dream is to play at the highest level in Europe someday”

In 2014, it was a great experience for me when I was named captained the Craig Bellamy’s academy first-ever tournament in Europe, the milk cup tournament in Belfast, Nothern Ireland”

“In 2017, I signed for a professional club in Ivory Coast with Ivoire Academie, where I spent two seasons. In 2019, I joined FC Johansen on loan, but because of the Covid -19 I didn’t play as the season was halted”.

Samura has been part of Leone Stars 2018 friendly match in Monrovia against Liberia Senior team.
