The Sierra Leone Under-23 backroom staff has moved 23 Home-Based players to camp in Kenema City ahead of the highly anticipated double header U-23 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifying matches against the Junior Chipolopolo of Zambia on the 22nd and 29th October 2022.
Speaking on the move to Kenema, Head Coach Amidu Karim said, ”This effort will help both the players and the technical team to be more focused as preparation intensifies. We must continue working really hard to be able to achieve the fitness that will earn us a respectable result against Zambia . We owe this to the Nation.”
The team has successfully started its weeklong training session at the Kenema Townfield.
