All Mobile networks in Sierra Leone including telecom giants Orange, Qcell and Africell will now charge Le200 per minute for off-net mobile voice calls and Le300 per minute for off-net mobile voice calls (harmonized).

This follows the directive of The National Telecommunications Commission (NATCOM) to the mobile network operators to effective the tariff changes from Friday, December 24, 2021.

According to the Commission, these changes are in line with government’s desire to increase access and affordability to both mobile voice and data to the citizens of sierra leone.

Sierraloaded previously reported that the NATCOM Board of Commissioners took the decision today, December 23, 2021 as a Christmas bonanza to Sierra Leoneans according to Section 52 and 54 of the telecommunications acts.

The National Telecommunications Commission (NATCOM) was established by an Act of Parliament in 2006 to regulate the Sierra Leone telecoms sector, protect consumer interest and ensure fair competition among service providers.
