The first set of hospitalized victims of the tragic fire explosion at Wellington have been discharged from Connaught Hospital after nearly three weeks in care.

The discharge was accompanied with assorted food items and certificates to the patients returning home to their families after being looked after by both local and international medical doctors & health care practitioners.

The Minister of Health & Sanitation, Dr. Austin Demby extolled the patients for demonstrating courage & resilience during their healing period & reassured them of continuing post recovery care.

He also extended words of gratitude to Doctors, Nurses, 5/11 Health Coordination Centre, Connaught Hospital Management & all external medical forces who have in diverse ways played crucial roles in providing care for patients.
