The Managing Editor of the Future Newspaper Moisa Keikura was today, remanded at the Criminal Investigation Division of the Sierra Leone Police after He wrote an allegedly derogatory letter where He demanded an information from the Sierra Leone House of Parliament.

Moisa was summoned this morning by Parliament to answer to queries for the letter he wrote.

All did not end well, after interrogations at the house of parliament; he was accompanied to the Criminal Investigation Division by Cyril Juxin Smith Director of Public Relations of Parliament for police intervention.

Some media experts have expressed concern why did parliament failed to refer the matter to the Independent Media Commission (IMC) a commission establised by an Act of Parliment to look at the matter, but the criminal investigation department of the police. Whiles others believed that the letter was unprofessionally written and no journalist is above the law.

The good news is, the police did not detain him after taken statement from him.

“My fellow colleagues of the press media the Acting managing editor of the Future newspaper paper Mr Sirajin Muniru Rollings Kamara and the managing editor Mr Moisa S. Keikura AkA(Director Moisa), will be facing the majority leader of parliament tomorrow at parliament building and all good wishers are welcome to join us on the alleged matter related to Le 120 billion Saga.
