The Engineer for the ongoing rehabilitation of 24-bedroom hotels and six classrooms at the Tourism Training College (HTTC), Musa Jimmy has promised to complete the work within two months.

The rehabilitation of the building is under the implementation of the Sustainable Tourism Development and Promotion Program (ATDPP) which is financed by the Enhance Integrated Framework (EIF) Trust Fund and implemented by the National Tourism Board (NTB).

In May 2021, the minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs Dr. Memunatu Pratt turned the sod for the rehabilitation of the project.

Enhance Integrated Framework (EIF) Deputy Executive Director, Annette Ssemuwemba and the Coordinator Peter Donelan spot-checked the facility and expressed satisfaction at the level of quality work done and commanded the Tourism Board for making sure the project meets its desired expectations.

The facility is to ease the demand for technical tertiary training college in hospitality management.
