Mello Seven, a well-known Sierra Leonean afro-fusion artist and songwriter also known as Jonathan Obai Fitzjohn, recently debuted his much awaited song titled “KAPU.”

The term “Kapu” in Sierra Leonean slang means to “grab” or “seize” an opportunity when it presents itself. This song’s major objective is to impart to the next generation the value of “hustling while we have the energy.”

The song incorporates a quick-paced, upbeat amapiano instrumental to increase its accessibility and appeal. It is suitable for nightlife venues and gatherings because of this.
