Bafana is meeting with the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone for the fifth time across all competitions since South Africa was readmitted into international sport in 1992 after two-decade isolation imposed on the apartheid-state.

The two are meeting for the 5th time as Sierra Leone looks forward to maintaining the good record over South Africa having won 1 and drawn 4 in their last four encounters.

Since their first ever meeting which was in June 2008, the Southern African giants have never tasted a win over the West African country.

The FIFA sanctioned international friendly match will be played at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.

Coach Hugo Broos’ side will also be under pressure to win this encounter against Sierra Leone, who are ranked 113th in the Fifa world rankings.
