The Human Rights Commission of Sierra Leone (HRCSL) has commenced validation process on the draft National Policy on business and human rights in Makeni city.
The Validation process according to them may cover the Northern Region and the north-western regions. This was supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Sierra Leone and the Ireland embassy in Sierra Leone respectively.
The commission in partnership with the PPRC, NCD, ICPNC, SLLC has engaged the Sierra Leone police executive on a mediation for peace and the way forward concerning the political impasse after the June 24 multi-tier elections in the country
