A recent audio circulating on social media has brought to light serious allegations made by the Mayor of Kenema against Peace Ambassador Boss La and his team.

The confrontation, which reportedly led to the cancellation of Boss La’s planned show in Kenema by the local police division, has sparked controversy and drawn public attention to the incident.

According to the audio, the Mayor recounts a disturbing encounter with Boss La and his entourage on the highway. The Mayor claims that while returning from a funeral in Tiama, he encountered Boss La’s convoy overtaking his vehicle. Subsequently, both parties encountered a parked trailer, leading to a tense situation where a car allegedly drove recklessly, prompting Boss La’s team to confront the driver and initiate physical violence.

The Mayor alleges that he intervened to stop the assault on the driver, advising Boss La’s team to report the incident rather than resorting to violence. However, he claims that this intervention led to verbal abuse and threats from Boss La and his associates. Seeking to resolve the matter, the Mayor waited at a location called Bandama, only to face further aggression and physical assault allegedly perpetrated by Boss La and his team.

Furthermore, the Mayor accuses Boss La and his associates of assaulting police officers present at the scene and ransacking his vehicle, threatening him with bodily harm and attempting to run him over with a car.

The Mayor asserts that he has reported the incident to the Kenema Police, undergone medical examination, and intends to pursue necessary legal actions.
