Another Opposition MP, Alfred William Thompson, has taken Parliamentary Oath Today, defying party line for second time following Hon. Mohamed Bangura.
The swearing-in ceremony comes in the wake of the June 24th Elections, which have been marred by controversy.
The All Peoples Congress has chosen to engage in a boycott of government proceedings, a decision that has drawn attention and mixed reactions from the public.
The elders of the APC party have publicly announced their intent to continue the boycott until their demands are met, which includes the release of election results by individual polling centers.

Thanks Mr Thaspson for the bold step you have taken
Correct move you behave like krio man don’t allow fools to fool you.
This is good more to follow. There are other avenues to solve this problem, not by refusing to represent the people that left their homes, be in long queues and even Under the rain just to elect them.
Thank you Hon. Thompson for taking this bold step as a people’s representative
All of them will follow Mohammed Bangura…..dry eye cover shame na ihn APC dey par

Thank you Sir for the wise decision you make please join honourable Mohamed Bangura and call your colleagues to take their sit in paliament
“As time goes on we shall know them. ” Gradually, we are beginning to know the True members of the Noble APC party from the Fake ones
This is an opportune time to separate the the Grain from the chaff.
This issue of the APC boycotting parliament is similar to the story of a woman, who because of hunger she had to involve in extra marital sex just to get food.
This shows how Unethical, unreliable and treatours some members of the APC are. Indeed this is a proper Litmus test case. It is either Alkaline or Acidic.
This issue of betrayal is also an eye opner to the Grassroot supporters to be very objective in their selection of candidates in subsequent encounters.
Those betrayals of the APC party have done themselves more harm than good in the political field.
Sierra Leone is undergoing series of TESTS. One of the tests is for you to find out,——–” Those who love the development of the entire country and those who love their self development only.”—–
This is the real situation of the country, Sierra Leone.
So think twice before you venture.
Congratulations
APC needs to attend Paliamentary sittings for the sake of their electorates. Boycotting Parliament is not the solution . Kudos to Mr Williams for the bold step
I am not in favor of APC boycotting parliament, they should have gone to court. Yes, there was a good chance they lose anyway as our judges and justices all basically pledge allegiance to the president in power, not the constitution. but where we know that there are RR forms that show SLPP stole the election, den bin for shame face. That said, those APC members now going to parliament are only thinking about themselves. Yes, they have families to feed, bills to pay (a consideration, one that APC should have addressed before telling people not to go to work for the next five years, which is what it will come down to), lets us stop claiming they are doing the will of the people who voted for them. The will of the people and what they wanted to achieve by voting has been trampled on by Maada Bio and their votes won’t matter. ECSL claims SLPP won 60% of parliament vote; THAT IS LIE. How come those talking about the will of the people don’t talk about that?
Can APC come to the court of popular opinion with their own breakdown of the results which shows what they have.
Thank you my Honourable, this shows you are ready to work with this government. Let me as a Sierra Leonenaen tell all the APC boycotting MPs to PLEASE STOP BOYCOTTING PARLIAMENT. Because it is not good for this country and anything not good for this country should please not be done by you the APCIANS. You are just rulling this country give others the chance.
That’s awesome bro, you have really done great. You are indeed a patriotic citizen of our country mama salon
