The Jong River, also known as the Taia River, is a significant waterway coursing through Sierra Leone. It gracefully winds its way past the city of Mattru Jong before ultimately converging with the vast Atlantic Ocean.
The catastrophic event unfolded on the tranquil waters of the Jong River, sending shockwaves through the local community. Although precise details are still emerging, it is confirmed that the incident resulted in multiple casualties.
