Sierra Leone Police Arrest Suspected Drug Distributor
Julius Mustapha Harding On Monday, November 6th, 2023, the Operations team of Harbour Division took decisive action by conducting targeted raids in suspected gray areas. This operation led to the apprehension of Desmond Mansaray on allegations of being involved in the possession and distribution of illegal substances.
During the raid, law enforcement officials discovered and seized 14 satchets containing a substance suspected to be cannabis-sativa, along with 375 wrapped bundles of material believed to be Kush. This significant seizure was indicative of potential illicit drug-related activities.
Desmond Mansaray was taken into custody on the grounds of suspicion of drug possession and trafficking. Subsequently, both the suspect and the seized items were promptly handed over to the Investigation Unit for a comprehensive and detailed inquiry.
