Sierra Leone’s Minister of Youths Affairs, Mohamed Oman Bangura has held partnership discussions with the United Nations Development Program in Sierra Leone on the rollout of the Youth Connect 2024.
He had discussions with the Country Director, Fred Ampiah of the UNDP on the proposed youth connect secretariat and relaunch of youth ambassadors initiative in the country that may help the youths rebrand their potentials and have time to reconnect activities that will be developmentally driven by themselves in their various communities.
The Country Director of the UNDP expressed great concern over the issues as well as committing to take part as they appreciate the insights and exciting reflections from the Youth Connect Africa 2023.
“The future looks promising for empowering the youths of Sierra Leone,” Fred Ampiah stated.
